Everything a league needs, already configured
OOTP moves league files over FTP and gives you no tooling around it. SimHosts is that tooling — the server, the folders, the credentials, and the parts of running a league that OOTP leaves to you.
The server
An FTP server that is already correct
Every league gets its own isolated FTP account on port 21, serving both plain FTP and FTPS. The three directories OOTP expects are created for you, with the permissions that keep a league from breaking itself.

Setup
Credentials you paste, and a tester that proves them
Copy your host, port, FTP mode, username, and password straight into OOTP’s Online League Settings. Before you invite anyone, run a one-click test that opens the exact connection OOTP will make — so you find problems before twelve managers do.
Your league on the web
A subdomain, and a public page that is actually readable
Each league gets your-league.simhosts.com automatically. Your league file is served at /leaguefile/ and reports at /reports/html/ — the URLs OOTP asks for. We also parse the reports you upload into a public league page with News, Standings, Power Rankings, Batting, Pitching, Transactions, and Injuries tabs. Share one link instead of a folder of raw HTML.
Managers
GM onboarding that is not email archaeology
Invite links, a member manager, and team assignments. Send each manager their quick-start code from inside SimHosts instead of copying text files into individual emails. Upload your accountsdata_gms.dat once and managers can repair a broken connection themselves without re-running Quick Start.
Running the league
A treasury ledger, not a spreadsheet
Track dues in, payouts and expenses out, and a running balance — visible to your members, managed by you. Private to your league.
Safety net
Nightly off-site backups
Every league is backed up each night to off-site storage, with size and status tracked so you can see it happened. Storage usage is tracked per league against your plan.
